I put off calling for over a year because I cannot stand my feet touched. I told everyone I saw in the office I was very uneasy about the appointment. Dr Steer listened, was very understanding and explained everything before he did a thing. He is kind, he listens and I never felt any pain. I recommend him highly especially if you have issues about seeing a podiatrist. Second visit was much easier.

Dr. Carl Speer from Emerald Coast Foot & Ankle Center is the best! He is very knowledgeable, very helpful and always there with a kind word! He always goes above and beyond to show how much he cares about us, his clients. He has never once made me feel rushed or feel that I am a bother. I couldn’t recommend him more! He and his office staff are simply the best!

Doctor Speer is incredibly nice and honest.

I have been seeing Dr. Speer since July of 2023 for neuropathy. When I first met Dr. Speer I was ready to have my feet removed in favor of blades and taking pain medication. We started the MLS laser treatment and had noticeable improvement within the first or second month of treatment (70% to 80%), I was delighted. My condition was from alcohol, I did not stop drinking and the pain returned after the treatment concluded. I went back suggested we start another round, however now I would abstain. Round 2 was helpful and I saw improvement again but fell off the wagon a few times and every time it set me back. If you have alcohol induced neuropathy, you must stop, or you will be wasting the doctors and staffs time and your money.
Dr. Speer is super attentive, easy going and always happy to answer my questions and I asked a lot being a chemist (probably drove him crazy). Dr. Speer is also very conservative in his approach and not quick to start writing prescriptions or pursuing aggressive treatments and super straight forward, I really like that. I have made further adjustments to my diet eliminating all inflammatory foods: MSG* (labeled natural flavor), sugar, aspartame*, sucralose*, hydrolyzed protein*, gluten and contact with aluminum* (deodorant containing aluminum and cook wear) which has complimented the treatment (doc can’t do everything), Taking a more holistic approach with further MLS treatment I am seeing the same success I saw initially, eliminated the pain meds. It has been a journey due to my inability to make the necessary changes to attain the desired outcome, as we typically think the doctor is going to work magic and wala, you cured.
His staff, they are fantastic, very personable and like family now, along with Dr. Speer. I can’t say enough about his practice and the professionalism, they are simply the best! If you have foot problems, you can trust Dr. Speer and his amazing staff. My only complaint is he only practices podiatry. Dr. Carl Speer is my hero, James.

The staff are very welcoming. They want to help you find the solution to your foot/feet problems. They are a dream come true for me. I would not be able to stay off my feet doing conventional surgery. I just learned about non-invasive procedures and I am so grateful. You have to be well educated and well trained to offer these types of procedures. Not everyone does. I was so lucky to find Dr Speer. My unique situation will not allow for time off. I need to be available to care for My twin girls. Dr. Speer explained the procedure and what to expect and encouraged me to continue to ask questions through the process.
