How the Procedure Actually Works
InvisiFoot™ uses live X-ray guidance and specialized instruments to correct structural deformities through micro-incisions — preserving healthy tissue and eliminating the need for hardware.
Local Anesthesia — You Stay Awake
Unlike traditional surgery, InvisiFoot™ uses only local anesthesia. You remain awake and comfortable throughout.
Live X-Ray Guidance — Fluoroscopic Precision
Dr. Speer uses real-time fluoroscopic imaging throughout the procedure to ensure precise correction — with no guesswork and no second-guessing.
Micro-Incisions — 3 to 4mm
Specialized instruments are inserted through incisions smaller than a pencil eraser. No large open cut, no significant tissue disruption, and virtually no visible scarring.
No Permanent Hardware — Zero Screws or Plates
The corrected bone is stabilized either naturally or with a temporary pin that is later removed comfortably in the office. This reduces hardware-related complications and future hardware removal procedures.
Walk the Same Day
Because InvisiFoot™ is minimally invasive and performed in-office, patients walk immediately after surgery — no crutches, no wheelchair, no hospital admission.

Traditional Foot Surgery is Outdated
For decades, the standard of care for bunions and hammertoes involved large incisions, permanent metal hardware, and prolonged immobility. Patients were forced to accept this as the only option.
The Era of Traditional Foot Surgery is Over.
Stop letting foot pain hold you back from the life you love. InvisiFoot™ has helped hundreds of patients across the Emerald Coast get back on their feet — faster than they ever imagined.
InvisiFoot™ uses live X-ray guidance and specialized instruments to correct structural deformities through micro-incisions — preserving healthy tissue and eliminating the need for hardware.
Large, Invasive Incisions
2–4 inch cuts causing significant tissue damage and visible scarring.
Permanent Metal Hardware
Screws and plates implanted in the foot, sometimes requiring removal surgery.
General Anesthesia Risks
Full sedation with associated risks, nausea, and extended recovery from anesthesia alone.
Weeks of Non-Weight Bearing
6–12 weeks off your feet, unable to work, drive, or perform daily activities.
Traditional Surgery vs. InvisiFoot™
The clinical advantages of InvisiFoot™ over traditional open foot surgery are significant at every stage of the patient journey. Take a look for yourself:

Let us put your mind at ease
InvisiFoot™ represents a fundamental advancement in foot surgery — combining specialized micro-instruments, live fluoroscopic imaging, and Dr. Speer’s elite surgical training to deliver outcomes previously impossible with traditional approaches.
For decades, the standard of care for bunions and hammertoes involved large incisions, permanent metal hardware, and prolonged immobility. Patients were forced to accept this as the only option, including Dr. Speer. Not wanting for anybody else to go through what he experienced, Dr. Speer dedicated his time to create this minimally invasive new technique that will help people for years to come around the world.
The cost of an InvisiFoot procedure can vary depending on the specific condition being treated and the complexity of the surgery. Most procedures are covered, at least in part, by your insurance plan.
In addition to standard insurance billing, InvisiFoot procedures include an advanced surgery fee, which reflects the specialized minimally invasive technology, equipment, and techniques used to perform these procedures. This fee varies based on the type of surgery.
Prior to your procedure, our team will verify your insurance benefits and provide you with a clear estimate of any out-of-pocket costs, including deductibles, coinsurance, and any applicable advanced technology fees, so there are no surprises.
If you have any questions about pricing or coverage, our team is happy to walk you through your specific situation.
Recovery with InvisiFoot is designed to be straightforward and patient-friendly. Patients are able to walk immediately after the procedure in a specialized post-operative shoe—there is no need for crutches, a boot, or a period of non-weightbearing.
Patients typically wear the post-operative shoe for about 4 weeks. During this time, many can continue with normal daily activities, including driving, as long as they are not taking prescription pain medications. Overall, recovery is focused on maintaining mobility while the foot heals.
The length of an InvisiFoot procedure depends on the specific condition being treated. However, most procedures are relatively quick.
For example, a typical bunion correction is usually completed in about 1 hour.
